Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Registrar of the Optpmetrists & Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria.
Application for the post of a Registrar
REQUIREMENTS
Prospective candidates should possess the following:
1. Doctor or optometry (O.D.) with a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience.
2. Acquisition of FNCO/PhD in any sub-specialty area of Optometry will be an added advantage.
3. Cognate experience in similar administrative position will equally be an added advantage.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
The Registrar is the Chief Executive Officer responsible for the day to day running of affairs of the Board. He is also the Secretary to the Board.
REMUNERATION
Salary and allowances are same as in similar Federal Agencies and Parastatals.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application in candidates's own handwriting should be accompanied by fifteen (15) copies of his/her curriculum vitae and relevant qualifications.
