A New International Specialist Hospital, newly developed in Abuja, Nigeria is seeking for innovative, experienced and qualified candidates for consideration for the position of its CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

• He should be responsible for facilitating the quality of healthcare facility of hospital. 

• Must be bounded for getting accreditation from different governing body/regulatory (ISO, JCI, etc.). • Provides senior executive leadership for the Health System entity in facilitating medical staff interactions with Hospital Administration and the governing board and to assure effective and efficient delivery of quality medical care consistent with the mission and vision of the Hospital. 

• Provide medical oversight, expertise and leadership to health plan members in order to ensure the delivery of cost effective, quality healthcare services to patients.

• Provide leadership and expertise in the development, implementation and interpretation of medical review and quality related policies and guidelines.

• Provide oversight and direction for staff and provider training and education. 

• Review case management data, identifies trends and gaps in care and recommends corrective actions. 

• Review all quality of care issues and oversee the development and implementation of processes for improvement.

• Monitor performance indicators to ensure the delivery of cost-effective care within quality standards. Provide medical guidance to the Medical Management department. 

 

Qualification:

MBBS (Medicine), or its approved equivalent and a post graduate fellowship in any specialization. 

 

Experience: 

- minimum of 15+ Years of experience in multi-specialty hospital administration. 

 

Age: 45-60 Years
