Trauma Life Support (TLS) Course

The Trauma Life Support (TLS) course is designed for the healthcare providers who are first to evaluate and stabilize the trauma patient. The courses provide complete training in the skills needed for rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabilization and transportation of trauma patients.
 
TLS is standard training course for pre-hospital trauma care. TLS course combine classroom learning and hands-on skill stations. Scenario assessment stations enable you to put your learning to work in simulated trauma situations
 
At the completion this course, the participant shall be able to:
To provide a description of the physiology and kinematics of injury.
To provide an understanding of the need for a rapid assessment of the trauma patient.
To enhance the participant’s performance in the assessment and treatment of the trauma patient.
To provide an overview and establish a management method for the pre-hospital care of the multi-system trauma patient.

Resuscitation
Rapid Assessment , Stabilization and transportation of trauma patients

Patient Assessment and Management
Basic and Advance Airway management
Fluid Resuscitation
Spinal Motion Restriction, Short Board, Helmet Management, Log-Roll, and Long Backboard Utilization
Extremity Immobilization and Traction
