The Eko Hospital Limited situated in Lagos State - Nigeria is currently recruiting to fill the following positions;

Position 1: Nephrology Nurse [Dialysis Nurse]

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Initiate, monitor and terminate dialysis on patients.

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Applicants must have RN or RM certificate plus a certificate in Nephrology Nursing.

• Training in a recognized Dialysis Centre without certification in Nephrology may be considered for RN/RM applicants.

• Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years practical experience on dialysis.

Position 2: Business Development Manager

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Strategise on acquiring new customers for products at the same time maintaining the existing customers and creating better relationships

• Elaborate business development plans, design and implement processes to support business growth, through customer and market definition.

• Facilitate business growth by working together with clients as well as business partners

• Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective customers and other business and project partners.

• Drive prospects through to contract award (including identifying new customers and markets, developing approaches to the market, identifying prospects, proposal preparation, etc.)

Build employee confidence and morale by being knowledgeable in all areas of business development.

• Responsible for creating business opportunities and develop business plans to achieve goals

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Applicants must have MBBS or a good degree in Medical Sciences, Marketing or Business Administration with at least 3 years working experience in a related healthcare company.

• Possession of a master’s degree or relevant professional membership will be an added advantage.

• Applicants for this position is responsible to the Chief Operations Officer.

• Excellent communication skill.

Position 3: Nursing Officers

Duties/responsibilities:

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Applicants for this position must possess RN/RM certificates.

• Applicants must possess valid practicing license

• Applicants must have at least 5 years clinical experience.

• Excellent communication skill.

Position 4: Physiotherapist

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Initiate appropriate physiotherapy intervention programs for patients or clients suffering from immobility.

• Assess and evaluate physical disabilities caused by neurological disorders, stroke, diseases or injuries.

• Bring wellness and mobility in physical disabilities caused by injuries, stroke or other neurological disorders through physiotherapy treatment programs.

• Handle pain and physical problems caused by illnesses, disabilities and injuries.

• Manage and treat patients with disabilities in home and community care.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient care and comfort.

• Maintain and update patient records and documents.

• Provide quality physiotherapist treatment to the highest possible levels.

• Consult and collaborate with consulting physicians and other medical professionals in providing physiotherapy treatments.

• Teach patients and their families about self care treatment interventions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Applicants must be first degree holder

• Applicants must have a mmum of 3 years working experience in a reputable hospital.

• Excellent communication skill.

Position 5: Theatre Nurse [Peri-operative Nurse]

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Initiate duties required inline with periop nurses job description in the theatre.

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Applicants must have RN or RM certificate plus Peri-Operative Certificate.

• Applicants must have at least 2 years clinical experience.

Excellent communication skill.

Position 6: HMO Manager [Medical Doctors Only, 3 yrs HMO experience]

Position 7: Intensive Care Unit Nurses (I.C.U Nurses)

Position 8: Consultant Family Physician/Cardiologist/Radiologist/Pediatrician.
