ACE-PUTOR is a platform designed to produce highly skilled and motivated Public Health Professionals through cutting-edge research, tailored to address health impacts of oil and gas activities, and contribute to building the requisite human resource and knowledge base for development in Africa.

Applications are invited for suitably qualified candidates for the underlisted programmes administered in the Africa Centre of Excellence in Public Health and Toxicological Research (ACE-PUTOR).

Programmes are accredited by: National Universities Commission & Royal Society of Biology

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for the PGD Programmes must have attained HND with upper credits, graduates undertaking a career shift from other disciplines or a first degree in appropriate majors with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) below 3.0 on a 5 - point scale.

Candidates for the MSC programmes must have commpleted a BSc degreee in approatiate majors, with a CGPA of 3.0 on a 5 - point sclae.

Candidates for the PhD programmes must have completed an MSc degree in appropriate majors, with a CGPA of 3:5 on a 5 - point scale

Additionally, all candidates for the nursing postgraduate programmes should be registered and licensed as Nurses or Midwives.

MINIMUM PROGRAMME DURATION

PGD/MSc - Full time 12 months; Part Time 24 months

PhD - Full Time 36 Months: Part Time 48 months

• Completed forms, reference letters, statement of purpose and official transcript shall be submitted with a non-refundable application fee of N20,000 (twenty thousand Naira only) before the Friday 16th of February 2024.
