The Association of Nigeria Private Medical Practitioners (ANPMP) ably led by the President, Kay A. Adesola, congratulates our President, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and Commander - in - Chief of the Armed Force and the Vice President, His Excellency, Kashim Shettima GCON, as they assume leadership of our great country.  

This is indeed a season of renewed hope in all facets of our lives in Nigeria and more importantly, in the Health Sector where things presently look very gloomy.  

In addition to the prayers of the Nigeria Medical Association published in the Guardian Newspaper of 30th May, 2023, we wish to suggest a beaming of light on the efficient implementation of the ideals in the following areas:

(i) The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA)

(ii) The National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance Systems (NEMSAS)

(iii) The report of the recently concluded Osinbajo-led Presidential Health Reform Committee.  

These are tools that will help to hasten a quicker attainment of the universal Health Coverage we are all yearning for: A healthy Nigeria is our hope.

We wish you God's Guidance, Sound Health and Outstanding Wisdom as you steer the ship of our country with a renewed hope.
