Job Title: Consultant Ophthalmologist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

As the Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will deliver high-quality ophthalmic care, including medical and surgical management of eye conditions, while ensuring excellent patient outcomes and adherence to best clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions
• Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures with a high level of competence
• Provide specialist consultation and develop treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safety, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or West African Postgraduate Medical College (WAPMC), or equivalent
• Must be a certified Ophthalmologist
• Valid MDCN license with current practicing certification
• Strong experience in clinical and surgical ophthalmology
• Excellent patient management and communication skills.

Salary

NGN 1,500,000 – 2,000,000 Monthly.
