Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Mop-Up Examinations for Overstay Students and Degree Certificates for Collection

The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has concluded arrangements for Mop-Up examinations for its overstay students (undergraduates and post-graduates). 

Eligibility and Guidelines: 

  1. Overstay students to be considered are only those who overstayed from 2010 to date. 
  2. Those that would benefit from the exercise should be confirmed ESUT students who have ESUT Matriculation numbers and Jamb registration numbers (where applicable). 
  3. Such candidates should not have outstanding credit units that are in excess of 48 units.
  4. Such candidates should not have outstanding credit units that are in excess of 48 units. 
  5. The candidates should not be indebted to the University and should have paid their school fees up to their final years of study. Evidence of such payments should be presented to, and confirmed by the Bursar. 
  6. The candidates should also pay school fees for the maximum number of years allowed for their respective programmes. 
  7. Registration on complete payment of all approved fees should be completed within one month from the date of this announcement. Thereafter, late penalty fee of ten thousand (N10,000.00) shall be applied till commencement of the examinations.
  8. Undergraduate students (Regular, MSP, and Sandwich) shall pay one current year's school fees for renewal of studentship, and Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) examination processing fee. 
  9. Post-Graduate students (Full-Time, Part-Time, and Sandwich) shall pay one year school fees each for renewal of their studentship, and One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000) as examination processing fee. 
  10. The Mop-Up examinations should be carried out in one semester for both undergraduate and post-graduate students. 
  11. A central time-table shall be used covering a period of one month revision exercise and two (2) weeks examinations period.
  12. Marking, grading, computation and submission of computed results by departments shall be within two (2) weeks from the end of the examinations. The minimum pass mark shall correspond to the benchmark operational then i.e. as at the time. 
  13. Departments are to activate courses that were offered then which had been phased out.

Degree Certificates for Collection 

The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) is notifying all its graduates who have not collected their Original Degree Certificates to come and collect them. 

The names of owners of the available Degree Certificates have been uploaded in the ESUT website: www.esut.edu.ng while more names will continue to be uploaded. Affected graduates are therefore advised to continually visit the ESUT website to check for their names.
