NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF WAIVER ON REGISTRATION, LICENCE/PERMIT. MCPDP AND INDUCTION

Following the expiration of the first extended period of the 50% waiver granted to all Individual Environmental Health Practitioners (EHOs. EHTs and EHAs) on the backlog of fees for Registration, Licence, MCPDP and Induction on 16'h August, 2021, the Council has approved the second and last extension of the waiver from 17th August, 2021 to 31st , December, 2021: which marks the expiration of the 2020/2021 licence cycle year This extension is occasioned by the impact of the third wave (Delta Variant) of COVID-19 pandemic, and pleas from the various Stakeholders.

Consequently, you are advised to take the advantage of this last waiver period and obtain your practice licences to be in good standing with the Council. Failure of any person practicing Environmental Health without being in good standing with the Council by 31st December, 2021, the Council will not hesitate to enforce Section 16 of Act No. 11 of 2002
