FUTO Postgraduate Admission 2025 Is Open – Apply Now for Advanced Degrees in Health Technology and Public Health!

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various postgraduate programs of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO).

Available Postgraduate Programs

Programs are offered at the following levels:

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
• Master of Science (M.Sc.)
• Master of Engineering (M.Eng.)
• Master of Technology (M.Tech.)
• Master of Public Health (MPH)
• Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

Departments Offering Postgraduate Programs

School of Health Technology:

• Optometry
• Prosthetics and Orthotics
• Public Health (with the following options):
  
  • Epidemiology and Biostatistics
  • Environmental Health and Safety
  • Health Promotion
  • Infectious Diseases and Global Health

Method of Application

Candidates are advised to complete the application forms online through www.futo.edu.ng starting August 2025.

Instructions:

• Ensure that the referee's email address supplied is valid, as a referee form link will be sent for completion online.
• Only valid email addresses and phone numbers should be used, as further correspondence will be through these channels.
• Print out a copy of the acknowledgement slip after completing the form. An acknowledgment will also be sent to the email address provided.
• Ensure that the online form is carefully and correctly completed.

Documents to Upload to the Postgraduate School Portal

Candidates should upload scanned copies of the following relevant documents:

• Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate / Statement of Result
• University Degree Certificates / Statement of Result
• NYSC Discharge Certificate / Exemption Letter
• "O" Level Result
• Other Relevant Documents

Submission of Academic Transcript

All applicants must forward hardcopies of their academic transcripts to:

Deputy Registrar / Secretary, Postgraduate School, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.

Note: Applications without academic transcripts will not be considered for admission.

Closing Date

• The application portal will close on November 30, 2025.
• All document submissions must be completed by the same date.
• Successful candidates will be notified via email/SMS.
