Role Objective
- To provide expert pharmaceutical care, ethical medication dispensing, and clinical counseling to our community.
- This role is designed for a disciplined professional who will drive clinical excellence and operational efficiency under the supervision of the Superintendent Pharmacist. Note: This position does not require the candidate to hold the premises license.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Dispensing: Review and dispense prescriptions with 100% accuracy, ensuring patients receive the correct medication, dosage, and usage instructions.
- Patient Counseling: Provide professional advice on drug interactions, side effects, and chronic disease management (Hypertension, Diabetes, etc.).
- Inventory Integrity: Supervise stock levels using the FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocol. Perform regular inventory audits and ensure zero "avoidable" expiries.
- Regulatory Documentation: Maintain meticulous records in the Prescription Book and Controlled Drug (Narcotic) Register in strict accordance with PCN and NAFDAC guidelines.
- Digital Operations: Use our ERP systems (Odoo/Zoho) for real-time sales entry, inventory tracking, and clinical documentation.
- Public Health Engagement: Lead the clinical side of our "Health Awareness Days" (e.g., World Malaria Day, World Heart Day) through patient education and screening.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy: Achieve 99.9% dispensing accuracy (Zero tolerance for clinical errors).
- Compliance: 100% audit-ready documentation for all controlled substances.
- Inventory: Maintain optimal stock-on-hand levels and minimize waste through proactive monitoring.
- Service Excellence: Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings through empathetic and professional counseling.
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or PharmD from a recognized institution.
- Licensing: Must possess a current Annual Practicing License from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail pharmacy or hospital practice.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Pharmacy Management Software (Odoo, Zoho, or similar ERPs) and Microsoft Office.
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / Month.
