We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Locum Pharmacist

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Part-time

 

Description  

  • Filling and dispensing prescriptions while adhering to the Pharmacy Code of Ethics.
  • Counseling and educating patients on the correct usage of their medications, including potential side effects and ways to manage them.
  • Reviewing patient medication profiles to identify and address potentially harmful drug interactions to ensure their safety.
  • Accurately packaging and labeling medications, with thorough cross-checks for verification.
  • Dispensing and managing the use of controlled substances and poisons according to established protocols.
  • Consulting with patients on appropriate over-the-counter medications for minor health issues and making referrals to other healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Providing guidance on healthy lifestyles, skincare, and overall well-being.
  • Assisting patients with basic health screenings such as weight, BMI, blood pressure, and blood sugar level checks, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Providing initial emergency care by administering appropriate first aid.
  • Implementing strategies to improve patient adherence to their prescribed medications.
  • Establishing strong patient trust and serving as a reliable health advisor within the community.
  • Ensuring consistently excellent and memorable customer service during all patient interactions.
  • Overseeing the supply chain for medications and other related products.
  • Promoting and ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and protocols (PPPs) among team members.
  • Managing systems for addressing employee and customer feedback.

 

Salary

  • N1,500,000 - N1,800,000 annually.
