LOCATION: ENUGU (AGBANI)
- MEDICAL OFFICER
RESPOSIBILITY
- The candidate will be responsible for providing high quality medical care to patient, student and staff of the university
- Ability to run rotational night shift and weekend calls.
- Provide emergency medical interventions and stabilize critical cases.
- Oversee inpatient care with meticulous night-rounds and monitoring.
- Document cases accurately in health records .
- Provide routine checkups and emergency care
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possession of an MBBS degree or its equivalent, NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificates.
- Current registration/Practicing License with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- Three referee reports must be submitted with the application.
- NURSING OFFICER
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing and midwifery care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, ensuring timely intervention when necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Assist in the preparation and application of medical treatments as per patient care plans.
- Provide information to patients and families regarding health conditions, care options, and treatment plans.
- Offer emotional support to patients and families during challenging health situations.
- Work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Adhere to hospital infection control policies and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain high standards of care delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
- Licensure: Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and hold a valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting and experience in maternal and child health, labor and delivery is preferred.
Skills:
- Compassionate, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A solid understanding of nursing and midwifery practices, including infection control and patient safety.
3.LABORATORY SCIENTISTS:
Responsibilities
- Taking Samples.
- Performing laboratory examinations.
- Ensuring proper reporting and registration of sample results.
- Ensuring confidentiality.
- Taking care of or managing and organizing the laboratory equipment.
- Perform cleaning and minor maintenance of biomedical equipment used.
- Applying safety protocols, including daily cleaning maintenance sterilization.
- Ensuring proper sample waste disposal.
- Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports of test findings.
- Must keep appropriate records of laboratory equipment and consumables
Requirements.
- Candidates must possess requisite certificate
- Current practicing license.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years post NYSC.
- Computer. Literacy will be added advantage
