The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria hereby notifies all stakeholders that the accreditation status of the underlisted Hospitals designated as Internship Training Centres has elapsed and they are yet to apply for re-accreditation despite several reminders by MDCN for them to do so.

This Publication which serves as another reminder to the hospitals to process their re-acreditation without further delay is also to inform stakeholders and the general public that the housemanship done by house officers engaged by these hospitals will no longer be accepted for issuance of Full Registration Certificate until they update their accreditation status.
However, house officers currently undergoing housemanship in the listed hospitals will be allowed to finish while anyone engaged after the date of this publication will not be accepted.
In addition, Hospitals which nomenclature changed are by this notice required to formally write to inform the Council about such change
