The attention of the Management and staff of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital NAUTH, Nnewi, has been drawn to a post in social media alleging open extortion said to be going on in the institution's College of Nursing.

While we have set up an investigative panel to determine the veracity of the allegation and the staff involved in it, we wish to categorically state that NAUTH does not encourage such criminal and corrupt activity and will deal decisively with any staff or student found to be involved in it.

The general public is encouraged to furnish the hospital with any information that will assist in the investigation through the undersigned.
