I, the Chairman, National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Delta State Chapter, Comrade Alice Jegede-Ikpen, on behalf of our members, wish to heartily congratulate our own dear Delta State Governor – elect and the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Honorable Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on his well deserved victory at the just concluded Governorship election. 

Sir, your election as Governor -elect of Delta State on the Platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was destined by God.

We thank God for giving you victory at the polls and we know that God who has chosen you to become Governor of Delta State will use you to lead us to greener pastures. 

We also thank our amiable listening State Governor, His Excellency Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for his magnanimous effort and wisdom of giving us a remarkable and able successor in your person, as we have no doubt that you would ensure good governance in the State. 

I commend the efforts of my super active teaming supporters, my colleagues in the Nursing Profession and my awesome PDP stakeholders for their hard work in making sure that we came out victorious. May God bless you all. 

To all other candidates of the PDP in the State, I urge you all to come together as one family so that we can join hands with out Governor – elect to move Delta State forward. Let us embrace peace and encourage unity amongst ourselves.
