The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) is determined to sustain the imperatives of the transparency and accountability elements of its reforms.
Within that context specifically, it seeks to resolve extant issues of HMOs' indebtedness to Healthcare Facilities regarding the payments of capitation and fee-for—service.
Consequently, all NHIS-Accredited Healthcare Facilities nationwide are to submit details of unpaid NHIS Fee for service, Capitation and Private Health Insurance claim submitted to the HMOs for the period 1st April, 2021 to 31st December, 2021 to their respective NHIS State Offices. THE SUBMISSION SHOULD NOT BE LATER THAN 18TH FEBRUARY, 2022.
Please treat as urgent.
