According to the statement, the approval of the council followed the accreditation visit to UNIMED, Ondo, between Wednesday, November 30, 2022, and Thursday, December 1, 2022, to ascertain the available resources for the training of MBBS students in the school.
Oluwatayo said the provisional approval of the council was conveyed in a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of the school, Prof. Adesegun Fatusi, and was signed by the Registrar, Dr. Tajudeen Sanusi.
“With this development, final-year students of the MBBS programme at the university can now take their final professional examination and be inducted into the medical council,” the statement said.
