Job Title: Pharmaceutical Senior Sales Executive

Location: Nigeria (Nationwide)

Job Description

Our client is in need of a Senior Sales Executive that will be responsible for owning the product’s strategy, developing and maintaining the product, and communicate the product’s value to the market.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing marketing plans for target audience
  • Constantly increase the visibility and awareness of the company’s pharmaceutical and medical products and maximize sales growth.
  • Training the sales force on how to sell the product, creating marketing materials that communicate product features, and developing the marketing tools and campaigns to attract new prospects and customers.
  • Responsible for finding new potential clients, meeting with those clients to assess their needs, customizing sales presentations based on those needs and demonstrating products.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and meet with those customers to promote new products, cross-sell other products and respond to their customers' evolving needs.
  • Attend pharmaceutical conferences to raise awareness of the company's products and generate potential sales leads.
  • Demonstrate existing products and update doctors on new drugs under development.
  • Answering detailed questions from doctors and explaining the differences between competing products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree, B.Sc. in Chemistry or any other relevant field
  • An MBA will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience with a focus on pharmaceutical sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines and latest medical issues
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Must be aware of regulations that apply to pharmaceutical sales.
