Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

About the Role

• We are hiring a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our Ago branch.
• The role involves working closely with licensed pharmacists to dispense medications, manage inventory, and ensure customers receive accurate and timely service while maintaining full compliance with pharmacy standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions under the supervision of licensed pharmacists
• Counsel customers on drug usage, dosage, and side effects as directed
• Receive, arrange, and label stock, monitor expiry dates, and rotate inventory
• Process sales, handle POS transactions, and maintain accurate daily records
• Ensure shelves and dispensing areas are clean, organized, and well stocked
• Comply with PCN, NAFDAC, and company SOPs at all times
• Report stock-outs, slow-moving items, and near-expiry drugs to the supervisor

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy
• Good knowledge of common drugs, generics, and OTC products
• Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in basic computer and POS systems
• Resident in or able to commute easily to Ago, Lagos.
