We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Benin, Edo

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and management of medications.
• The successful candidate will assist in ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing prescriptions and dispensing medications
• Measure, count, package, and label drugs accurately
• Support pharmacists in compounding medications where required
• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation
• Manage inventory, restock shelves, and monitor expiry dates
• Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products
• Operate pharmacy software systems for data entry and record keeping
• Respond to customer inquiries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist
• Comply with all pharmacy laws, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.

Requirements / Skills

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of medications and prescription handling
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficiency in computer use and pharmacy software is a plus.

Experience:

• Entry-level applicants may apply
• 1 - 3 years experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
