Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and management of medications.
- The successful candidate will assist in ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing prescriptions and dispensing medications
- Measure, count, package, and label drugs accurately
- Support pharmacists in compounding medications where required
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation
- Manage inventory, restock shelves, and monitor expiry dates
- Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products
- Operate pharmacy software systems for data entry and record keeping
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist
- Comply with all pharmacy laws, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
Requirements / Skills
- Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of medications and prescription handling
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficiency in computer use and pharmacy software is a plus.
Experience:
- Entry-level applicants may apply
- 1 - 3 years experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
