Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited (SVNL) is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Ikeja, Lagos. Originally established as a joint venture, it is now owned by Sagar Overseas Ltd. SVNL operates a modern facility with high-capacity production lines for tablets, capsules, ointments, and more, adhering to GMP standards.

The company is NAFDAC-approved and partners with Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Health to support local drug production. Its product portfolio includes vitamins, antibiotics, and over-the-counter supplements.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Production Pharmacist

Location: Makun, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily pharmaceutical production activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with GMP standards.
• Ensure quality control and assurance by working closely with QA/QC teams and monitoring product standards.
• Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records and ensure proper documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and maintain production equipment, ensuring proper cleaning, calibration, and functionality.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and support training of production staff to maintain workflow and safety standards.

Requirements

• Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical regulations
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Familiarity with production equipment and processes
• Team coordination and leadership abilities
• Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.

 

Salary

N250,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
