Job Title: Registered Nurse and Midwife

Location: Mowe, Ogun

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical competence, professionalism, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with physicians’ orders and established protocols.
  • Perform clinical assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage patient records.
  • Assist in the management of emergency, medical, and surgical cases.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation.
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
  • Support the healthcare team in achieving optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on treatment plans, medication use, and health maintenance.
  • Demonstrate leadership and teamwork, including mentoring junior staff where necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must hold a current practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of hospital work experience.
  • Competent in the clinical evaluation and management of emergency, medical, and surgical cases.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Must reside within Mowe, Lotto, and its environs.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in basic computer operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Client-oriented, with the ability to handle complex or emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
