RESOLUTIONS REACHED AT THE MEETING OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY COUNCIL OF NIGERIA WITH DEANS OF FACULTIES/HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS OF NURSING SCIENCE IN UNIVERSITIES IN NIGERIA, HELD AT HOTEL DE- BENTLEY, UTAKO, ABUJA
The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) held a meeting with the Deans of Faculties/Heads of Departments of Nursing Science in Universities in Nigeria on 8th to 9th December, 2021, where critical issues concerning Nursing education were discussed and resolutions made. I am pleased to inform you that the resolutions of this meeting were presented to the Governing Board of the NMCN at its 56th General meeting held in December, 2021. The Board after deliberation approved all the resolutions made. The Council hereby forwards the resolutions to you with the hope that it will serve as a guide and reference document to the institutions. The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria shall continue to develop strategies for the full implementation of these resolutions. Please accept my deep appreciation of your support in promoting and maintaining excellence in Nursing education and practice in Nigeria.
