Requirements for Academic Staff

Principal Lecturer

• Holders of Doctorate Degree in relevant field with at least six (6) years cognate teaching/research work experience or Master’s degree in relevant field with at least fifteen (15) years cognate teaching/research work experience plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• He must possess sixteen (16) conference papers and twelve (12) reputable journal publications, seven (7) meaningful chapter contributions or two (2) standard textbooks with relevant professional membership.
• Must possess demonstrable ability in both academic and administrative leadership.
• The ability to manage students, publications in the Q1-Q4 Scopus Index, web-based journals, and research grants won are added advantage.
• First Class, Distinction, Second Class Upper, Upper Credit, M.Sc. with Ph.D grade and Ph.D in view are added advantages.

Senior Lecturer

• Holders of Relevant Doctorate Degree in relevant field with at least nine (9) years cognate teaching/research work experience or Master's Degree in relevant field with at least twelve (12) years cognate teaching/research work experience plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• He must possess thirteen (13) conference papers and eight (8) reputable journal publications, three (3) meaningful chapter contributions or one (1) standard textbook with relevant professional membership.
• First Class, Distinction, Second Class Upper, Upper Credit, M.Sc. with Ph.D grade and Ph.D in view are added advantage

Lecturer I

• Holders of Relevant Doctorate Degree in relevant field with at least three (3) years cognate teaching/research work experience, or Master's degree in relevant field with at least six (6) years cognate teaching/research work experience plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• He must possess ten (10) conference papers and five (5) reputable journal publications, a meaningful chapter contribution with relevant professional membership.
• Must possess demonstrable ability in both academic and administrative leadership.
• The ability to manage students, publications in the Q1-Q4 Scopus Index, web-based journals, and research grants won are added advantage.
• First Class, Distinction, Second Class Upper, Upper Credit, M.Sc. with Ph.D grade and Ph.D in view are added advantage.

Lecturer II  

• Holders of Relevant Doctorate or Master's degree in relevant field with at least six (6) years cognate teaching/research work experience plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• He must possess five (5) conference papers and three (3) reputable journals publications and evidence of Administrative/Community Service. Ability to manage students is an added advantage.
• First Class, Distinction, Second Class Upper, Upper Credit, M.Sc. with Ph.D grade and Ph.D in view are added advantage.

Lecturer III

• Holders of Master's Degree in relevant fields or a good Bachelor's Degree (at least Second-Class Lower Division) with at least three (3) years cognate teaching / research work experience plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• He must possess two (2) conference papers and one (1) reputable journal publication with evidence of Administrative/Community Service.
• The ability to manage students is an added advantage.
• First Class, Distinction, Second Class Upper, Upper Credit, M.Sc. with Ph.D grade and Ph.D in view are added advantage

Assistant Lecturer

• Holders of a Bachelor's Degree (at least Second-Class Lower Division) with at least three (3) year of cognate experience and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
• Ability to manage students is an added advantage.
• First Class, Distinction, Second Class Upper, Upper Credit, M.Sc. with Ph.D grade and Ph.D in view are added advantage.

Technologist I  

• Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant fields, (at Credit Level) with three (3) years cognate experience plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
• There should be evidence of production or fabrication of functional projects in relevant disciplines.
• In addition, possession of NSQ, CISCO Certification and ability to manage students are added advantages.
• First Class, Distinction, Second Class Upper, Upper Credit, M.Sc. with Ph.D grade and Ph.D in view are added advantage.

Requirements for Non Academic Staff

Medical Services

Medical Officer I - CONMESS 02

• Holders of a good M.B.B.S and registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, plus  NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. Ability to manage students is an added advantage.

Nursing Officer I - CONHESS 09

• Holders of a good Bachelor's Degree (at least Second Class lower) in Nursing plus registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (N.M.C.N) plus at least three (3) years post-qualification cognate experience and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. Ability to manage students is an added advantage.

Pharmacist - CONHESS 08

• Holders of a good Bachelor's Degree (at least Second Class lower) in Pharmacy with full registration with the Pharmacists Registration Board of Nigeria plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. Ability to manage students is an added advantage.

Engineer II (Biomedical) CONTEDISS 08

• Holders of a registrable Bachelor's Degree (at least Second Class Lower) in Biomedical Engineering plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. In addition possession of NSQ, CISCO Certification and ability to manage students are added advantage.

Health Records Assistant - CONHESS 03

• Holders of a good Senior Secondary School Certificate with four (4) Credits passes at one (1) or five (5) Credits passes at two (2) sittings in relevant subjects

Environmental Health Assistant- CONHESS 03

• Holders of a good Senior Secondary Certificate with four (4) credits passes at one (1)  or five (5) Credits passes at two (2) sitting in relevant subjects

Higher Technical Officer - CONTEDISS 08

• Holders of a good higher National Diploma (at Credit Level) in Computer Engineering with sound knowledge of relevant software packages and Database, plus NYSC discharge certificate or possession of National Diploma in Computer Engineering with at least six (6) years post-qualification cognate experience. In addition, possession of NSQ, CISCO Certification and ability to manage students are added advantage.

 

Laboratory Technician -CONTEDISS 07

• Holders of a National Diploma (at Credit Level) in Music Technology/Transport Planning & Management/Printing Technologhy & Graphics/Science Laboratory Technology with at least three (3) years post-qualification cognate experience.

 

Laboratory Assistant - CONTEDISS 03

• Holders of a Senior Secondary Certificate, National Technical Certificate or its equivalent with at least four (4) Credit passes at one sitting or five (5) Credit passes at two sitting, two of which must be Chemistry, Biology or Physics
