West Africa Container Terminal Nigeria Limited (WACT), East Nigeria’s leading container terminal operator, invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian undergraduate students from Onne and Ogu Communities in Rivers State for its 2026 Tertiary Institution Scholarship Programme.
This initiative is designed to promote academic excellence and leadership development among young Nigerians in WACT’s host communities. Successful applicants will receive funding from their second year through to the completion of their academic programme.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants must:
- Be indigenes of either Onne or Ogu communities in Rivers State
- Be registered undergraduates in an accredited and approved public university or polytechnic in Nigeria
- Be in 200 Level (university) or ND 2 (polytechnic) with a minimum CGPA of 2.5

4. Applicants must provide personal and educational details and upload scanned copies of the following documents:
- Admission Letter
- 100 Level result (for university students) or ND 1 result (for polytechnic students)
- Letter of Attestation stamped by the department (for both university and polytechnic students)
- O' Level result(s) and A' Level/OND/NCE result(s) as applicable
- Letter of Identification stamped and signed by:
- The Paramount Ruler of the host community
- The Councillor representing Onne or Ogu at the Local Government Council
- WACT’s Community Relations Officer (CLO) for the host communities
