ai.  COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENTION WORKERS CHEW COURSE

Prospective candidates should possess five 5 credits as in  WASCE , NECO, OR GCE O LEVEL at not more than two 2 sittings . The five credit must be in the following subjects; Biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics and English at not more than two sittings.

 

Retrainee JCHEW; prospective candidates must be holders of JCHEW certificate with at least two 2 years of post qualification in addition to Ai above and must be registered with CHPRBN.

 

aii. JUNIOR COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKER JCHEW COURSE

 

Prospective candidates must posses three 3 credits in WASC , NECO, SSCE, GCE O LEVEL Examination at  not more than two 2 sittings. The three credit must includes; English language, biology, mathematics and any other two passes which includes (i). anyone of physics, chemistry, geography,food and nutrition and anyone of economics,agriculture ,account or commerce.

 

BI. DIPLOMA IN DISPENSING OPTICIANRY

Prospective candidates should possess four credit passes in WASC, SSCE, NECO,OR GCE O LEVEL Examinations. The four 4 credit passes should be in the following subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English Language

 

CI. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICER’S COURSE

Prospective candidates should possess five credit passes in WASC, SSCE,NECO OR GCE OLEVEL Examinations at not more than two 2 sittings or its equivalent as may be approved by EHORECON or WEHAB. The subjects must include ; English language, Mathematics , Biology, Chemistry and Physics

 

CII. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHICIAN COURSE

Prospective candidates should possess three 3 credits and two 2 passes in WAEC , NECO, and GCE OLEVEL or teacher TCII certificate at not more than two sittings . the three 3 credits and two 2 passes must include the following subjects; English language, Biology, Geography , Physics, Chemistry, Agric, Tech. Drawing and any other subject. Mathematics would be an advantage

 

NOTE; For the purpose of this course science subjects are ; Biology, chemistry, Physics, General Science and Health Science

 

CIII. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANTS COURSE

Prospective candidates should possess four passes in WASC,SSCE, and GCE OLEVEL or NECO grade II OR NABTEB certificate at not more than two sittings. The four 4 passes must include a pass in one 1 science subject, biology/health science, chemistry, nutrition, physics, general science or integrated science and English language.

 

NOTE; Combined results for CI-CII must be from the same examination body. I.e  SSCE and SSCE or NECO and NECO

 

DI. HEALTH EDUCATION COURSE

Prospective candidates should possess four credit passes in WASC, SSCE, and GCE OLEVEL or NECO Examinations. The credit passes should include mathematics , English language, biology/health science and anyone  of the following subjects; chemistry , economics or geography at not more than two 2 sittings.

 

EI. HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN COURSE

Prospective candidates must possess five 5 credit passes in WASC, SSCE, GCE OLEVEL,NECO or NABTEB Examination or its equivalent, which must includes credit in English language, Biology/Health Science, chemistry/Physics,Mathematics and any one 1 other subject at not more than two 2 sittings

 

eii. HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT N.D COURSE.

Prospective candidates must possess five 5 credit passes in WASC, SSCE, GCE OLEVEL,NECO or NABTEB Examination or its equivalent, which must includes credit in English language, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry/Physics,Mathematics and anyone other subject at not more than two 2 sittings

 

FI. NUTRITION AND DIETETICS

Prospective candidates should possess four 4 credit passes in WASC,SSCE, GCE OLEVEL or NECO examination at not more than two 2 sittings. The subject must include Chemistry, Biology/Agric sc. And any other two 2 of the following ; Mathematics , Food and Nutrition, Physics, Econs/Commerce, Health Science, Home Management, English language, Basic catering and Food services

 

At least passes in English language and mathematics are compulsory

 

FII. FOOD HYGIENE

Prospective candidates should possess three 3 credits and two 2 passes in WAEC , NECO, and GCE OLEVEL or teacher TCII certificate at not more than two sittings . the three 3 credits and two 2 passes must include the following subjects; English language, Biology, Geography , Physics, Chemistry, Agric, Tech. GI. MEDICAL LABORATARY TECHNICIAN COURSE

Prospective candidates must possess five 5 credit passes in WASC, SSCE, GCE OLEVEL,NECO or NABTEB Examinations, the subjects must include credit in biology, chemistry, English language , mathematics and any other relevant subject, but must have at least a pass in physics

 

GII. RETRAINEE MLA; Prospective candidates must possess Medical Laboratory Assistant certificate with two 2 years post qualification in addition to GI above.

 

Candidate for medical laboratory Technicians /Assistant; Whose SSCE, NECO, or  its equivalent qualification are more than five 5 years by 2017 are not eligible for admission.

 

HI. PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING COURSE.

Prospective candidates must possess five 5 credit passes which must include English language, mathematics , biology, physics and chemistry subjects in WASC, SSCE, GCE OLEVEL, NECO Examinations at not more than two 2 sittings plus either b, c, or d below

Registered nurse R.N

Registered midwife R.M certificate or any other basics nursing certificate e.g psychiatric nursing certificate plus one 1 year post qualification

BNSC candidates from universities accredited by NUC, NMCM and WAHEB.

 

hii. HEALTH ASSISTANT COURSE

Prospective candidates should possess five 5 passes in WASC, SSCE, GCE OLEVEL or NECO examinations at not more than two 2 sittings. The passes must include English language, any of the science subjects and three 3 passes in relevant subjects.

 

HIII. HEALTH TECHNICIANS COURSE

Prospective candidates must posses three 3 credits in WASC , NECO, SSCE, GCE O LEVEL Examination at  not more than two 2 sittings. The three credit must includes; English language, biology, mathematics and any other two passes which includes (i). anyone of physics, chemistry, geography,food and nutrition and anyone of economics,agriculture ,account or commerce.

Prospective candidates should possess WASC, SSCE, GCE OLEVEL or NECO Certificate with four 4 credit passes which must include English language, mathematics, chemistry and biology at not more than two 2 sittings.

 

Ji     IMAGE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN COURSE

Prospective candidates should possess three 3 credit passes in GCE, WAEC, SSCE, or NECO which must include English, Mathematics and one of either Chemistry, Physics or Biology at not more than one sittings

 

K     PARAMEDICS

Prospective candidates must possess five 5 credit passes in WASC, SSCE, GCE OLEVEL, or NECO Examinations at not more than two 2 sittings. The subject must include English language, mathematics, chemistry, biology and physic

 

L     DENTAL SURGICAL TECHNICIAN

Prospective candidates must possess Five (5) Credit passes in WASC, SSCE, GCE OLEVEL, or NECO Examinations at not more than two 2 sittings in Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

 

M   BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING

 Prospective candidates must possess SSCE, NTC, WASC,GCE, NECO with four (4) credit level passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and a pass in English at not more than 2 sittings.
