  	GENERAL INFORMATION
  	. Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) situated in Ado-Ekiti is a Federal Government licensed non- profit private university.
  	. Location: The University is built on its permanent site on a 1300 hectares of land at an altitude of 1,500ft above sea level which provides ideal climate for learning activities and agriculture.
  	. Approval: The University obtained approval for all its courses and has since secured 100% accreditation for 14 programmes submitted to NUC in addition to professional  accredition for seven Engieering to programme COREN and accredition for computer programme by the Computer Professionals of Nigeria.
  	. Strutures on Ground: Fully air-conditioned bulidings for all colleges, modern hostel buildings for students, luxurious cafeerias, providing English and continental dishes , bottled water plant, bakery, printing press, laundry ect all manufactured by ABUAD and 192 flats for staff 
  	.Teaching facilities: Air-conditioned classroons; 14 sepaate laboratories for different department physical libraries with LexisNexis, academic on-line e-library, Law  Pavilion e- library and Compu-Law e-library full internet connectivity for all colleges, hostels, modern sporting facilities for soccer, tennis, hostels, volley ball, badminton, basketball and so on.

  	SALARY PACKAGE 
  	Salary and allowances which are personal and negotiable are higher than Federal Government consolidated unitary salary structure. Salary increment is based on productivity ands cOlltribution to the development of the University.'
  	RETIREMENT, PENSION AND OTHER WELFARE SCHEMES 
  	The University operates a contributory pension Fund as enacted by the Act of the Nation Assembly. It is mandatory for all staff to take part in the contributory  pension scheme. The University 
  	shall pay 7 1/2 percent of the staff monthly basic salary to the pension fund while the staff shall pay 7 1/2 percent towards the fund. The University has also put in place insurance scheme for all staff.
  	A staff shall not be hindered by the University from drawing from the pension and insurance scheme in respective of the service status in the University.
  	In addtion, the Unversity offers highly subsidized accommodation facilities for staff on the campus with adequate water and electricity supply, sports and recreational facilities in a quiet and serne environment.

  	REQUIREMENTS
