The palpable tension that has engulfed our social media space on the assent given by FEC on centralization of placement of house officers is understandable. It is however needful to state what the leadership of AMLSN has been up to ever since:
1. AMLSN and MLSCN are worried by the attitude of FMOH and have expressed that worry in official communication to the appropriate authorities demanding that graduates of MLS be mainstreamed in the approved central posting of health professionals for internship
2. AMLSN has taken her concerns to major stakeholders at all tiers of government on the selfish and biased disposition of FMOH whose policies have been shown skewness in favour of medical doctors.
3. The National Presidents of AMLSN, PSN and others are already networking in addition to separate engagements with the FMOH on the show of shame in the ministry of health .
Be rest assured that AMLSN as a mature professional body and must do things professionally and not take the path of dishonor in any struggle We commend all who have called the National President of AMLSN on this matter and with whom we have shared the strategies we are unleashing.
Note that the gods will first make mad who they want to disgrace and destroy.That is what the leadership of FMOH has demonstrated.
We shall overcome!
