JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. AUDIOLOGIST (FULL TIME).

 

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Audiologist(s) with relevant working experience

Candidate should be computer proficient and have a sound relevant knowledge in general audiology operations but not limited to ear-related problems, excellent bedside manners, patient communication skills, while being able to work in a team.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

- Defines patient hearing impairment and balance disorder by conferring with referring physician; selecting and administering electrophysiological and other relevant tests; operating diagnostic equipment; determining type and degree of hearing impairment and effects on comprehension and speech; interpreting audiometric diagnostic data; preparing written diagnostic reports.

- Provides treatments by cleaning ear canal; fitting hearing aids and other assistive devices; conducting auditory training and instruction in speech and lip reading; fitting and tuning cochlear plants; counseling patients and families; conducting programs in aural rehabilitation; guiding technical staff.

- Ensures effective patient care and that standards of quality care are met daily

- Oversee patients’ recovery after procedures

- Assists physicians with ear-related procedures and provides direct patient care as required.

- Weekly Academic Learning activities limited to scope of practice
