Job Title: Claims Officer/Care Cordinator(Nurses)
Location: Lagos, NIGERIA
 
Job Description: 
  1. Analysing and processing of NHIS fee-for-service claims
  2. Checking enrollee status and approval
  3. Vetting bills according to NHIS tariff
  4. Noting discrepancies on the bills and writing or return of claims to affected provider
  5. Posting of issued cheques for paid claims
  6. Attachment of bill analysis to paid claims
  7. Filing of all paid claims
  8. Computerized processing of NHIS data.
  9. Assisting in processing NHIS capitation
  10. NHIS registration of enrollees
  11. Visitation of NHIS providers / parastatals
  12. Documenting / imputing of NHIS primary providers bank details
  13. Giving of approvals to secondary providers for NHIS enrollees
  14. Payment of NHIS providers capitation to banks
  15. Notification through correspondences and calls to NHIS providers on payment of capitation to their bank account
  16. Filing acknowledgement copies/receipts of capitation
  17. Attending to calls on NHIS enrollee providers
  18. Attending to NHIS enrollee complaints on omission of names or changes in ID cards (Registration)
  19. Assisting in enrollee enlightenment on the operation of NHIS
  20. Answer call professionally.
  21. Respond to customer enquiries.
  22. Research required information using available resources.
  23. Handle and resolve customer complaints.
  24. Provide customer with product and services information
  25. Enter customer information
  26. Accept/process orders, forms and applications
  27. Identify and escalate priority issues
  28. Route calls to appropriate resource
  29. Follow up customer calls where necessary
  30. Complete call logs
  31. Produce call reports
  32. Maintain complaints file (NHIS)
  33. Resolves enrollee complaints in Hospitals.
  34. Proffer referral centre and codes when necessary to providers.
  35. Proficient in relevant computer application.
  36. Other duties as assigned
 
Minimum Qualification: 
Nursing, RN, RM
