The Memo Read:

 

Dear Sir /Madam, 

 

As you are aware, the Professional Examination for General/Post Basic Nurses is usually conducted on first Tuesdays through Fridays in May and November of every year respectively. 

 

However, May 2018 Professional Examination for General/Post Basic Nurses fell on 1st May, 2018 which is a National Public Holiday and a Workers' Day. 

Based on the above, the Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria at its 44th General Meeting held 24th to 26th April 2018 in Abuja deliberated on the subject and approved that the Professional Examination for General/Post Basic Nurses shall hold from: Tuesday 8th to Friday 11th May, 2018. 

 

I am therefore directed to convey the Board's resolution as reflected above to you. I am further requesting you to bring the contents of this circular to all concerned. 

 

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria regrets all inconveniences this change may cause.
