A. ANATOMY/PHYSIOLOGY

QUALIFICATION:

a. Professor: (CONUASS 7)

Candidates are required to possess from a recognized University, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant speciality, Candidates will be required to have at least ten (10) years post qualification experience in teaching and research in universities or similar institutions of higher learning and will be required show demonstrable ability to unitate, develop and superivise research project, Additionally candidates will be required to show evidence of Scholary Publications reputable Journals and a capacity for strong academic leadership.A degree of Medicine, registration with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria will be na added advantage.

b. Readers/Associate Profressor: (CONUASS 6) The requirements are as in above except that candidates will be required to have at least eight (8) years post qualification experience.

c. Senior Lesturers: (CONUASS 5)

The qualifications are as in above except that however be required to have at least five (5) years post qualifications experience. candidates will be required to show evidence of good Scholarly Publications in repuatble journals.

d. Lecturer I: (COUNASS 4)

Candidates must possess from recognized University a Doctor of Philosopy (PhD) degree in the relevant or specialized area. Candidates will also be required to have three (3) years post qualification ex[erience. Evidence of Scholarly Publications in reputable Journals will be an advantage

e. Lecturer II: (CONUASS 3)

Candidates must possess from recognized University a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevent or specialized area.

B. BIOCHEMISTRY 

QUALIFICATION:

a. Professors: (CONUASS 7)

Candidates must posses a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the relevant or specialized area with at least ten (10) years post qualification experience in teaching and research in Universities or simiar institutions of higher learning. Candiates will be required to show demonstrable ability to initiate, develop and supervise research reojects. Additionally, candidates must show evidence of Scholary Publications on reputable Journals and a capacity for strong academic leadership.

b. Readers/Associate Professor: (CONUASS 6)

The requirements are as in above except that candidates will be required to have at least eight (8) years post qualification experience.

c. Senior Lecturers: (CoNUASS 5) 

Academic qualifications are as in above except that the candidates will be required to have at least five (5) years post qualification experience. Candidates must show evidence of Scholarly Publications in reputable Journals.

d. Lectuer I (CONUASS 4)

Candidates msut have a PhD degree in the relevant field or specialized area. Candidates will be required to have at least three (3) years post qualification experience. Proof of Scholarly Publications in reputable Journal will be an advantage.

e. Lecturer II. ( CONUASS 3)

Candidates must have a PhD degree in relevant or specialized area plus one year relevant teaching or research experience.
