The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has extended the deadline for accepting paper application for license renewal. The secretary general/registrar Alh. Faruk Umar Abubakar made this known in a memo detailed below:
EXTENSION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF PAPER/ MANUAL APPLICATION FOR NURSING LICENCE RENEWAL
You will recall that Council earlier put a notice that Paper/ manual application for licence renewal will cease with effect from September 30th, 2019.
However, due to some technical challenges being faced by some applicants on the newly deployed licence renewal portal (https://licence.nmcn.gov.ng) which Council is working hard to resolve, the acceptance of paper/ manual application is hereby extended till December 31st 2019
Please note that paper/manual applications will run concurrently with online applications for license renewal/change of name on the portal till December 31st 2019 while acceptance of ONLY online application for license renewal/change of name takes effect fully from january 1st 2020
