This is to inform you that the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has developed an induction document/procedure to guide the conduct of induction ceremony/activities of departments of Nursing Sciences in the universities. Henceforth, departments of Nursing Sciences are to adhere strictly to Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria's procedure for conduct of all induction ceremony for BNSC graduates as follows:

• An induction fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only per inductee shall be paid to Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria account.
• The above amount (N10,000.00) shall be paid alongside the application for registration, and shall be captioned as induction materials fee.
• All inductees are to appear in the Council's prescribed induction gown during swearing-in ceremony.
• There shall be no induction by proxy. Anyone that is absent will have to participate in induction program at the next available opportunity.
