Notice is hereby given to the public that the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria disclaim a purported advert on the SALE OF NURSES BADGE by one Ofejiro Praise Urhefe being circulated in different social media platforms.

The Nurses, Midwives and general public are hereby advised to desist from the advert on sales of Nurses badge as the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria did not hire or contract such items for sales, procurement, or production to any individual or group. Please be informed that Council will not hesitate to hand over any individual found doing such to the law enforcement agency for him/her to face the full wrath of the law.

However, the newly qualified Nurses and Midwives from September 2017 till date who are yet to collect their badges are hereby informed to go to their various Institutions of training from July 1, 2019 to collect their badges as arrangements have been concluded by the Council to dispatch all the badges to their institutions on or before this date.

Finally, for Nurses and Midwives who qualified before September 2017 and are yet to collect their badges, the Head of such Institutions are directed to forward a copy of the proof of payment to Registrar's office immediately for further action.
