Job Duties:
Manages all activities related to the preparation, dispensing, labeling and sale of prescription and pharmacy-related
products in a timely and courteous manner
Provide required assistance to all store employees in carrying out their respective functions.
Assist in pharmacy operations to achieve business objectives by increasing sales and gross margins, managing
equipment, limiting expenses, directing operations to minimize wait times, monitoring department performance
metrics, upholding proper pharmacy and general safety procedures and standards, and partnering with management
in developing and implementing store programs to help meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume.
Maintain inventory levels to company goals, rotates stock, complies with recalls, and utilizes return process
Focus on customer satisfaction and needs, ensures that customers are provided world-class customer service by
adhering to best practices and Company operating procedures.
Ensure all work processes are performed efficiently and effectively at each workstation by prioritizing workload and
organizing workflow.
Maintains proper pharmacy and general safety procedures and standards, including department cleanliness
Maintains all PCN-based record keeping for legend drugs and controlled substances
Adheres to Company and division dress code standards.
Performs other duties as assigned
Purpose of Job: The Pharmacist technician is responsible for assisting the Locum Pharmacist in
ensuring that daily store operations align with the processes developed to execute the
Company’s strategy.
Department/Division/ Unit: Pharmacy Operations
Location: In relevant store
 
Reporting Relationships:
Functionally Reports To: Supt. Pharmacist and Locum Pharmacist
Supervises: Support Staff
 
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal All Employees, Medical Officers
External Suppliers and Customers 
 
Requirements:
Education & Qualification Pharm. Tech Degree from any recognized institution.
Experience 2+ years’ relevant experience as a technician in a pharmaceutical environment.
Good knowledge of drug rules and manufacturing of pharmaceutical dosage forms.
Conversant with applicable Federal, State regulations, and codes
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good customer service skills
Must exhibit the highest level of personal and professional integrity
Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
An enterprising attitude that is quick to search out alternative solutions to needs or problems.
Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude
Helpful and personable attitude with evident desire to assist all employees to perform effectively
Good organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without direct supervision
