ARCTIC INFRASTRUCTURE (AI) is a private establishment with broad focus on infrastructure delivery, urban development and environment. The Arctic Infrastructure (AI) is collaborating with SUPPORT of Switzerland to delivering primary healthcare system in low income communities in Nigeria. As part of the project implementation plan, AI is now seeking a vibrant and self starter Project Manager (Special) – Health Infrastructure to implement health infrastructure project in Lagos. The incumbent will work in an exciting organization with opportunities to initiate and execute innovative ideas while having direct responsibilities as follows;
1. Engage community members on expanding access to qualitative and affordable primary healthcare system
2. Coordinate the construction and delivery of primary healthcare center
3. Facilitate training programs for community orthodox and complimentary/traditional healthcare providers
4. Coordinate awareness and health improvement programs for different groups in the community
5. Prepare health project proposals, budgets, narrative and financial reports on regular basis
6. Prepare funding and grant proposals, and maintain a successful follow up with funding institutions
7. Liaise with multiple stakeholders including government agencies, professional associations, funding and development partners on project implementation.
8. Supporting informal healthcare practitioners in operational ethical improvement and standard setting.
9. Collate, analyze, store and disseminate healthcare data with a view to informing policy change on improving primary healthcare system in underserved communities in Nigeria.
The incumbent will have the following characteristics;
1. A degree in public health or community health. Advanced degree is preferable.
2. 4 - 6 years experience in managing public health or community health
3. Membership of relevant healthcare professional associations is an added advantage
4. Good knowledge in health program management
5. Ability to independently formulate plans and proposals and able to implement same
5. Ability to work in a team and bring new innovations to programs and projects
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
