REGISTRAR
Qualifications
(1) Applicants for the above position must:
(a) possess a degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University ,
(b) be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and have a current practising licence;
(c) possess at least twenty (20) years post-registration cognate experience;
(d) not be more than 55 years of age;
(2) Additional qualification in Pharmacy or relevant discipline as well as computer literacy would be an advantage Anyone below Conhess 14 or Grade Level 16 or its equivalent in the private sector need not apply
Functions
The Registrar shall serve as Secretary to the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria and its Disciplinary Tribunal. The officer shall perform duties as stipulated in the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria Act Cap. P17, LFN, 2004 in addition to other duties as directed by the Council.
Tenure
This appolntrnent will be for four (4) years in the first instance, but following a satisfactory performance it may be
renewed for anotherfour (4) years.
Salary
Salary and fringe benefits are as applicable to similar officers in the Public Service.
Conditions of Service
Conditions of service are similar to those obtainable in the Public Service.
