Qualifications

Candidates for post (1) must possess Bachelors degree Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized University or equivalent qualification registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) current practicing licence and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate

 

Candidates to post (2) must possess B.Sc. Nursing (Educatan) from a recognized University registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) plus current practicing license. Post-graduate Diploma (PGD) in any Nursing related field will be an advantage. Candidates must present NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

 

Candidates for post (3) must possess B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized University, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate OR Nigerian Registered Nurse (NRN) and Nigerian Registered Midwife with current praticing licence. Certificate of training/experience in any Post Basic Nursing will be an advantage. 

 

Candidates for post (4) must possess a degree in Environmental Health Science recognized University.

 

Candidates for posts (5.6) must possess SSC/WASC/NECO/GCE (OIL) and mus successfully completed three years training in a recognized health institution and registered with the appropriate body for Technician Cadre.

Post 2 and 3 - CONHESS 08

Post 4 - CONHESS 07

Post 5 and 6 - CONHESS 06

 

Conditions of Service

The posts are pensionable and appointees will be on probation for a period of two years. Successful candidates will be subject to the Conditions of service of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital which the Hospital Management Board may from time to time introduce and which are similar to those obtainable in the Federal Public Service
