HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ABUJA  AD-HOC COMMITTEE ON THE NEED TO INVESTIGATE THE CAPITAL PROJECTS EXECUTED AND FUNDS REPEATED IN THE APPROPRIATION ACTS, FROM 2015 TILL DATE BY MINISTRIES, DEPARTMENT AND AGENCIES (MDA’S) OF GOVERNMENT ACROSS THE NATION (HR. 118/12/2020) 

CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF MEMORANDUM AND INVITATION TO THE INVESTIGATIVE HEARING 

Pursuant to section 62, 88 and 89 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, (as amended) and House Resolution (HR. 118/12/2020), the Ad-Hoc Committee hereby request for Memorandum on the Capital Appropriations, Funds Released and Capital Project Repeated in the Appropriation Acts from 2015 till date by Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government across the National from Former and Serving Distinguish Senators and Honourable Members of the House of Representatives, all MDA’s, Interest Groups and the General Public. 

All MDA’s that are yet to receive formal request for information and invitation letters from the Committee are by this publication required to comply and forward the information listed (I-Viii) below. One (1) soft copy and twenty five (25) hard copies typed double spaced and addressed to the Chairman should be submitted to suite 0.01, Ground Floor New Building, House of Representatives, National Assembly Complex, Abuja. 

1. Copy of MDA’s Budget in the Appropriation Act from 2015 till Date 
2. List of Capital Projects from 2015 till date
3. Detailed list of capital project completed, ongoing projects, date projects was awarded, amount outstanding if any and new projects from 2015 till date
4. Detailed evidence of all funds released by the Federal Ministry of Finance or the supervising agencies in respect of the Projects from 2015 till date
5. Procurement records of all the Capital projects from 2015 till date 
6. Evidence of job completion certificate for the projects from 2015 till date
7. Any other information, documents or records relevant to the course of this investigation 

Similarly, the committee wishes to use this medium to invite concerned stakeholders and the General Public to the investigate hearing, scheduled to commence as indicated below. The MDA’s must be represented by the Chief Executive Officers. 

THE LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF MEMORANDUM IS TUESDAY 27TH APRIL 2021

The investigative Hearing is Scheduled to commence as follows:
