The House Committee on Health Institutions cordially invites the General Public and Stakeholders to a Public Hearing on Bills scheduled for Tuesday, 5th July, 2022 at Conference Room 236, House of Representatives, National Assembly Complex, Abuja by 10am prompt:

The Bills are as follows:

1. A Bill for an Act to amend the University Teaching Hospitals (Reconstitution of Boards etc) Act, CAP U15, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. To Restructure the Composition of the Governing Board, Review the Nomenclature of the Heads of Hospitals, Redefine the Qualifications of the Heads of Hospitals, Provide a definite tenure of Office of the Heads of the Hospitals, including students of Health Sciences in the training programs of the Hospitals and include Hospitals established post-enactment of the extant legal framework in the schedule and other related matters. 2. A Bill for an Act to provide the legal framework for the upgrade and conversion of Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesha, to Federal Medical Centre, Ilesha, Osun State. (HB 1683)

3. A Bill for an Act to provide for the establishment of Federal Medical Centre, Dadin - Kowa, Kano State. (HB 1872)

4. A Bill for an Act to provide for the establishment of Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obuoffia, Awkunanaw, Enugu State. (HB 1098)

5. A Bill for an Act to provide the legal framework for the establishment of Federal Medical Centre, Akpugo, Nkanu West LGA. Enugu State. (1157)
