Job Title: Regulatory Pharmacist

Job Brief
We are looking for an ambitious Regulatory Pharmacist that will ensure the appropriate licensing, marketing and legal compliance of Chris Ejik Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Products Limited pharmaceutical and medical products in order to control the safety and efficacy of products.
Responsible for completing reports and applying for any licenses required for operation. Ensuring compliance with regulations set by all regulatory agencies in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Ensure manufactured products are appropriately licensed, produced and marketed.
- Negotiate with regulatory authorities for marketing authorization.
- Developing and writing clear arguments and explanations for new product licenses and license renewals.
- Preparing and following up submissions for both new and old licenses and renewals, ensuring that deadlines are strictly met.
- Planning, undertaking and overseeing product trials and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure the maintenance/ update of registrations in accordance with the relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines during relieving the production personnel.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements on release of medicine for sale in line with GMP and Chris Ejik policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development of new generic products and coordinate the regulatory affairs related to development of products
- Compilation of registration dossiers for submissions.
- Ensure that Chris Ejik Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Products Limited’s products comply with regulations.
- Keep up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines.
- Advise / inform / train the management and general staff of Chris Ejik Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Products Limited on regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for completing reports and applying for any licenses required for operation.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations set by all regulatory agencies in Nigeria.
- Participate in pharmacovigilance related activities
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- MSc / MBA Qualification will be added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical sector.
