INTRODUCTION 

The University of Medical Sciences, Ondo City, Ondo State is a Government approved university owned and established in 2015 by the Ondo State Government. It is a fast-growing institution which within its 5 years of existence has a student population of about 4,000 with a prosperous tendency o doubling the population in the next few years, considering the numerous programmes to be floated by the university authority. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION 

• The University is desirous of inviting interested investors to develop Students’ Hostels on BOT arrangement in the campus. 
• The university shall be providing land within its hostel facilities locations to interested developers on specific and conditions (to be agreed upon later) 

PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA FOR INTERESTED COMPANY/PRIVATE DEVELOPERS 

Interested Developers should write a letter of intent to which the following documents would be attached: 

• Company profile and organizational structure, including names, resumes and telephone numbers of key personnel. 
• Evidence of Incorporation of Company by the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC)
• Company Tax clearance certificate for the last three years 
• Audited annual financial report of the company for the last three years 
• Evidence of financial strength (commitment by banks for financial sponsorship) 
• An affidavit indicating the authenticity and verifiability of all submissions and ascertaining that none of the Directors of the company had been convicted for any criminal offence either at home or aboard. 

All the above documents must be submitted by interested companies / individuals (as applicable). 

SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS 

All pre-qualification documents, well bound in wax sealed envelopes with ‘BOT PRE-QUALIFICATION’ boldly written at the left-hand side should be submitted not later than 12:00noon on Monday, 25th May, 2020 to:

OPENING OF PRE-QUALIFICATION BIDS 

Pre-Qualification documents shall be opened at 1:00pm on Monday, 25th May, 2020 at the Council Chamber of the University, LAJE CAMPUS. All Bidders and / or their representatives are enjoined to be present at the opening. 

NOTIFICATION TO PRE-QUALIFIED DEVELOPERS

Notices shall be communicated to successful and pre-qualified developers via text messages / or e-mails latest on Monday, 1st June, 2020. 

COLLECTION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS 

 Pre-Qualified Developers shall be required to collect Contract Documents from the physical planning unit, upon making payment of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira only) from Monday 1st June, 2020. Details regarding all payment should be obtained from the Bursary Department of the University at the ODOSIDA CAMPUS. 

SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED DOCUMENTS 

All completed documents well bound in wax sealed envelopes should be submitted not later than 12:00noon on Monday 15th June, 2020 to:

OPENING OF DOCUMENTS 

Completed / submitted documents shall be opened by 1pm on Monday, 15th June, 2020 at the council chamber of the university (LAJE CAMPUS) in the presence of the University functionaries. All Tenders and / or their representatives are enjoined to be present at the Tender opening.
