Vacancy Announcement: Registrar/Chief Executive Officer at the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN)

The Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) is an Agency of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Nigeria. It was established by Decree No. 42 of 1987, now CAP R1 LFN 2004, and serves as the Statutory Regulatory Agency for Radiographers in Nigeria.

1. Job Title: Registrar / Chief Executive Officer

2. Responsibilities: The Registrar is the Head of the Secretariat and Chief Executive Officer of the Board. He or she shall also serve as Secretary to the Board and perform the duties of this office as stipulated in the Radiographers (Registration etc.) Act, 2004. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the Board, implementing policies and programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing leadership to the Secretariat.

3. Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess a Degree in Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers London (DCR) or its recognized equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields will be an added advantage.
  • Must be a registered Radiographer and have a current practicing license.
  • The position is tenured; candidates who are sixty (60) years of age and above need not apply.
  • Administrative qualification and experience is an added advantage.
  • Must have a minimum of 12 years post-qualification experience.
  • Knowledge of ICT will be an added advantage.
  • Candidates must be medically fit (attach evidence).
  • Candidates must be of proven good character and integrity.

4. Salary and Conditions of Service: Salary and conditions of service shall be in accordance with the Public Service Salary Structure applicable to this category of officers and as may be contained in the RRBN Conditions of Service.

5. Method of Application: Fifteen (15) copies of application letters with Curriculum Vitae are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Application for the post of Registrar” at the top left-hand corner and addressed to:

  • Central Business District, Garki, FCT, Abuja.

The Curriculum Vitae must include the names and addresses of three (3) referees, one of whom must be a Directorate Level staff in the Public Service.
