RE: DECLARATION OF TRADE DISPUTE:

NOTICE OF A SEVEN-DAY WARNING STRIKE

Following the declaration of trade dispute with the Ogun state government by organized labour on critical matters affecting the welfare of workers in the state and the discussions/negotiations which ended in a deadlock, organized labour has declared a seven-day warning strike with effect from the midnight of Tuesday 15th of September, 2020.

As an affiliate and a major stakeholder in the struggle, Ogun State Council of NANNM has directed all her members engaged by the state and local government service to comply with the directives to proceed on strike by organized labour. Please note that the strike is total and no one is permitted to render any skeletal services under whatever guise.

All nurses and midwives are hereby directed to stay away from work till Tuesday 22nd September, 2020 and await further directives from labour.

All unit chairman and secretaries are expected to communicate this information to their members and ensure strict compliance.
