University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre hereby invites the Prospective Candidates for the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre National Universities Commission (NUC) – Approved Nursing Programme for the 2019/2020 Academic Session.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR A 4-YEAR DEGREE IN NURSING

Admission to this programme shall be through the completion of necessary application forms. Suitably qualified candidates MUST possess the followings:

• Candidates must have completed the three-year General Nursing programme in an accredited School of Nursing, and be registered with and currently licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria to practice.
• Candidates must possess five (5) or six (6) 01 Level credits at two sittings (Provided the two sittings are from the same examination body BUT one sitting will be an advantage) or its equivalent in the following subjects:

- English Language

- Mathematics

- Biology

- Chemistry

- Physics (Physics may be waived in lieu of another Science Subject for candidates who obtained RN certificate before 1990)

• Candidates are to register on JAMB Portal at any Jamb accredited centre to obtain Jamb registration number on the Part-Time mode
