Job Role Objectives

  • He/she will work as part of a team of professional and medical staff, caring for our patients and providing their speedy recovery. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care

Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer
  • Corresponding Relationships: Pharmacist, Laboratory technicians, Medical Officers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitoring patients’ condition and assessing their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
  • Assessing, implementing, planning or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with other healthcare team members
  • Providing psychological and emotional support and companionship to patients and relatives
  • Helping prepare patients for examinations and medical procedure
  • Observing and interpreting patients’ symptoms and communicating them to doctors
  • Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
  • Assisting in examination of patients by performing routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, pulses, body temperature, etc)
  • Overseeing and track patients’ condition and document their recovery and progress
  • Modifying patients’ health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses
  • Assisting in providing urgent treatments in medical emergencies
  • Inspecting the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.)
  • Providing pre- and post-operation care
  • Maintaining accurate, complete healthcare records and reports
  • Assisting surgeons during operations
  • Adjusting and administering patients’ medication and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
  • Adhering to all relevant medical care, health and safety rules and regulations.

Specification / Qualifications

  • B.Sc or Diploma in Nursing
  • Valid Nursing License
  • Minimum Experience is 2 years nursing experience.
